The New Orleans Breastfeeding Center provides support for breast, chest, and bottle-feeding. Our services include clinic visits, virtual and phone consultations, and home visits by a Lacation Consultant and Lactation Counselors . We assess both parent and baby during these visits. We also offer classes, support groups, and breastfeeding circles to help with concerns over latch, supply, pumping, and sleep. It's important to call us early because most parents in Louisiana stop breastfeeding in their very first week.
